Farewell to Rev. Fr. Sathyan Antony OIC

Rev. Fr. Sathyan Antony OIC has been serving the Exarchate since July, 2011. For the past more than two years he served as the Pastor of the St. Vincent de Paul Malankara Catholic Cathedral Parish. On October 18, Father Sathyan was a given a warm send off, organized by the Cathedral Parish. Father Sathyan presided over the Sunday Holy Mass and after the Holy Mass, a farewell meeting was held at the Cafeteria on the Cathedral campus. His Excellency the Most Rev. Thomas Mar Eusebius presided over the meeting and thanked Fr. Sathyan in the name of the Exarchate for his meritorious service to the Cathedral Parish and to the Exarchate at large. Those who spoke on the occasion besides His Excellency were Rev. Fr. Augustine Mangalath, Msgr. Willy Gomes (Pastor of the St. Boniface Parish in Elmont), Rev. Fr. Abraham Lukose, Mr. Johnson Daniel, Mr. Geevarghese Mathew, Mrs. Princy Samuel and Ms. Jennifer Joseph. Father Sathyan also served as the Director of the Bible Apostolate in the Exarchate the past four years. We wish Fr. Sathyan God’s blessings in his future ministry.
