Rev. Fr. Abraham Lukose Kizhakkedath has been relieved of his responsibilities as Pastor of the St. Thomas Syro-Malankara Catholic Church in London, Ontario, and as the Moderator of the St. Mary Syro-Malankara Catholic Church in Toronto, Canada. The Syro-Malankara Catholic Eparchy in the USA and Canada acknowledges the remarkable pastoral leadership provided by Rev. Fr. Abraham Lukose Kizhakkedath over the last fourteen (14) years and expresses deep gratitude. Rev. Fr. Abraham Lukose Kizhakkedath will return to India to continue his ministry for the Eparchy of Mavelikkara.

Rev. Fr. Jobin Thomas has been appointed Pastor of St. Thomas Syro-Malankara Catholic Church in London, Canada, effective August 26, 2024. He previously served as the Associate Pastor of St. Thomas Syro-Malankara Catholic Church in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and has also held the position of Chancery Secretary for the Eparchy. The Eparchy sends its warm congratulations and best wishes as he begins this new ministry.

Effective August 15, 2024, Rev. Fr. Varghese Anchanithadathil has been appointed Pastor of St. Mary’s Syro-Malankara Catholic Church in Toronto. The Eparchy extends its sincere congratulations and prayerful best wishes as he embarks upon this new ministry.
