Family Renewal & Empowerment

This commission seeks to promote the pastoral care of families and protect their rights and dignity in the Church and in civil society, so that they may ever be more able to fulfill their duties. It works for a deeper understanding of the Church’s teaching on the family and through suitable catechesis. It encourages studies in the spirituality of marriage and family. The Family Apostolate is rooted in this commission and under this Apostolate, the Eparchial Marriage Preparation (Pre-Cana) course is offered annually and the Apostolate seeks to accompany all families, especially young couples.
