This welcome was followed by a word of appreciation and gratitude and the solemn celebration of the Holy Qurbono by Bishop Mar Eusebius. Seven priests, including members of the Exarchial Curia, concelebrated with His Excellency.
After the Gospel Reading, Very Rev. Msgr. Peter Kochery, Vicar General of the Exarchate, explained the significance of this ecclesial event. The decree of erection of the parish was solemnly read out by Very Rev. Fr. Augustine A. Mangalath, the Chancellor of the Exarchate. After the reading of the decree, His Excellency signed and presented it to Rev. Fr. Abraham Lukose, the Pastor of the new parish, Mr. Johnson Daniel, Parish Council Secretary, and Mr. Wilson Joseph, Parish Council Treasurer.
