New York Region Catechism Teachers’ One Day Seminar

The Catechism teachers of the New York Tristate Region gathered on Saturday, January 26 at the auditorium of the St. Vincent de Paul Church, Elmont for a one day seminar. Mrs. Karla McKenzie, the Director, Faith Formation Resource Center, Valley Stream took class for the participants and guided the seminar. More than 50 catechism teachers from the five New York Region Tristate parishes participated in the seminar. The seminar was inaugurated by His Excellency Dr. Thomas Mar Eusebius. The Pastors of the Tristate parishes including Very Rev. Msgr. Peter Kochery and the Rev. Sisters were also present in the seminar. For all the participants the seminar turned out to be a very enriching and fruitful experience. The seminar was organized by Rev. Fr. Abraham Lukose, Director of the Tristate region Catechetical Apostolate and Mrs. Jeny Sunil, Coordinator of the Tristate region Catechetical Apostolate. The seminar was conducted as part of the Tristate region Catechetical Vision 2013.
