Pre-Cana (Marriage Preparation) Course

The Department of the Family Apostolate of the Exarchate conducted a Pre-Cana (Marriage Preparation) Course on April 26, 27 at the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception, Huntington, New York. Classes were offered on the following topics: Sacramental and Liturgical Theology of Marriage and the Meaning of the Signs and Symbols of Malankara Catholic Marriage (Most Rev. Dr. Thomas Mar Eusebius), Marriage Communication and Family Relationship (Rev. Mathai Mannoorvadakkethil), Marriage Canon Laws (Rev. Dr. Sunny Mathew), Theology of Body, the Meaning and Purpose of Human Sexuality and Sexual Morality (Mr. Binu Abraham), Intimacy & Sexuality (Dr. Sindhu Sunil), Stewardship/ Family Budgeting (Mr. Binu George) and Faith & Family Spirituality (Rev. Fr. Mathai Mannoorvadakkethil). There was also a Discussion & Sharing Session on Present Day Challenges on Marriage. So also there was an Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and the celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The Sunday Holy Mass for the participants was celebrated by His Excellency Thomas Mar Eusebius. Certificates were awarded to the participants. The Course was coordinated by Rev. Fr. Mathai Mannoorvadakkethil, Director of the Department of Family Apostolate in the Exarchate.
