The highlight of the occasion was the esteemed presence of the Eparchial Bishop, Most Rev. Dr. Philipos Mar Stephanos, who graciously presided over the celebrations.

The festivities commenced on July 5th with the Evening Prayer and Flag Hoisting at 6:30 PM, marking the commencement of the Feast Day observances. Subsequently, the community gathered at 7:30 PM for a Cultural Evening, showcasing the parish's rich cultural heritage and the talents of its members. Reverend Fr. Jobin Thomas, Reverend Fr. Varghese Anchanithadathil and Brother Christopher Thomas were among the distinguished guests present, adding to the spiritual ambiance of the evening.

On July 6th, the celebrations continued with equal enthusiasm. The day commenced at 5:30 PM with a Liturgical Reception accorded to Bishop Stephanos, where parishioners warmly welcomed him amidst prayers and hymns. This was followed by the Holy Qurbono, the central act of worship in the Syro-Malankara Catholic tradition, led by Bishop Stephanos. The Holy Qurbono held a profound spiritual significance for parishioners, fostering unity and communion. Additionally, seven children received their Solemn Reception of Holy Communion during this service. Reverend Father Stephen Joseph Bruzzese, Pastor of St. Denis Roman Catholic Church, where the Malankara community presently celebrates, and Reverend Fr Cherian Paulose of the St Kauma Jacobite Church, Niagara Falls, participated in the Parish Feast festivities.

Throughout the Feast Day celebrations, the community of Sts. Peter & Paul Syro-Malankara Catholic Church demonstrated a deep commitment to faith and fellowship. Bishop Stephanos' presence and guidance enriched the spiritual experience of all participants, nurturing a sense of unity and devotion among the faithful.

On behalf of the parish, Revered Fr Aji Varghese extends its heartfelt gratitude to Bishop Stephanos, other distinguished guests, and all contributors who made this year's Feast Day celebration a profoundly memorable and spiritually uplifting event.
