H.E. Mar Eusebius visits the new Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch
On Friday, April 11, 2014, His Excellency Thomas Mar Eusebius led a delegation to the newly elected Patriarch of the Syrian Orthodox Church of Antioch, His Holiness Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II at his residence in Teaneck, New Jersey. The seven member delegation also included Rt. Rev. Msgr. Peter Kochery and Very Rev. Fr. Augustine Mangalath, the Vicar General and Chancellor of the Exarchate respectively. His Excellency conveyed to the new Patriarch congratulations, best wishes and prayers on behalf of the Exarchate. The new Patriarch expressed his determination to be committed to the cause of ecumenism in his new ministry in the Church. The installation of the new Patriarch is to be held in Syria on the Feast of Ascension.
