Hearty Congratulations, dear Father Jerry Mathew!

Jerry Mathew was ordained a priest for the Syro-Malankara Catholic Eparchy in the USA and Canada on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at the Syro-Malankara Catholic Cathedral in Elmont by His Excellency the Most Rev. Dr. Thomas Mar Eusebius. Present on the occasion were also His Excellency Thomas Mar Koorilos, Archbishop of Tiruvalla, His Excellency Yoohanon Mar Chysostom, Bishop of Pathanamthitta, His Excellency James Massa, the auxiliary bishop of Brooklyn. Jerry Mathew is the second priest to be ordained from and for an Eastern Catholic Church of Indian origin in America, the first one being Father Michael Edathil of the same Eparchy. Around 650 people participated in the liturgical celebration. The Syro-Malankara Catholic Eparchy in the US and Canada extends heartfelt congratulations and prayerful best wisher to Father Jerry Mathew.
