North-East Region Family Conference Registration Kick-Off

The second of the three Regional Family Conferences of the Eparchy, scheduled to take place this year, will be held on August 5 and 6 at the Syro-Malankara Catholic Cathedral, Elmont, New York. The Registration Kick-Off for the same was held on Sunday, July 9 at the Cathedral Parish. His Excellency Dr. Thomas Mar Eusebius officiated the ceremony. He inaugurated the Registration by receiving the Registration form from Mr. Thundiyath Babukutty, who has been appointed the General Convener of the Conference. Many other families from the parish also registered on the occasion. The theme selected for the Conference is ‘Cast your net into the deep’. Rev. Dr. Jose Mariadas OIC will be the chief resource person for the adult group. The Cathedral parish shall function as the host of the Conference. The other parishes included in the North-East Region are Yonkers, Rockland, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Washington and Florida. Rev. Fr. Thomas Ayyaneth, the Rector of the Cathedral parish is the General Coordinator.
