First Mass of Fr. Jobin Thomas

Reverend Jobin Thomas, who was ordained a priest on November 16, 2019 for the Syro-Malankara Catholic Eparchy in the USA and Canada by His Excellency the Most Rev. Dr. Philipos Mar Stephanos, offered his First Holy Mass on Sunday, November 17 in his home parish in Toronto, Canada. At 3:30 pm on November 17, the new priest and His Excellency Philipos Mar Stephanos, His Excellency Thomas Mar Eusebius, and His Excellency Jacob Mar Barnabas were received at the entrance of the Church. During the Holy Mass, His Excellency Mar Stephanos gave the homily. After the First Holy Mass, a felicitation meeting was held. Father Jobin thanked all those who assisted him on his journey to priesthood. Many priests, reverend sisters and many lay faithful participated in the Holy Mass. The whole event was organized by the Syro-Malankara Catholic parish in Toronto under the leadership of Rt. Rev. Msgr. Gigi Philip, the Pastor, and Rev. Fr. Abraham Lukose, the associate pastor of the Toronto Parish.
