Malankara Catholic Children's League (MCCL) Day

On Sunday, February 13, 2022, the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church is celebrating MCCL Day, This takes place on the Sunday following the Feast of the Presentation of our Lord in the Temple (Mayaltho). The Church recognizes the truth that the future of our Church is in its children. Therefore, the Church gives great importance to the faith formation of the children and their Christian personality formation. It is the desire and the dream of the Church that our children grow up like Child Jesus, “who increased in wisdom and in years, and in divine and human favour” (Lk 3:52).

This year, the Eparchial MCCL Day Celebration will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2022, at 6 PM EST, via Zoom. The Eparchial Bishop, Most Rev. Dr. Philipos Mar Stephanos will be joining this meeting and will be addressing all the MCCL Children.
