Elmont, NY – Thanks to the generosity of Bishop William Murphy and the Diocese of Rockville Centre, the Syro-Malankara Catholic Exarchate in the USA has a new chancery and bishop’s residence for its use. The new chancery was formerly the rectory of the Saint Vincent DePaul Parish in Elmont, NY.
On Sunday, June 2, 2013, Corpus Christi Sunday according to the Latin liturgical calendar, the Holy Father Pope Francis will lead a global Holy Hour with the bishops, clergy, and faithful of the Catholic family. Catholics throughout the Church will join together to adore the Lord in the Eucharist and will pray for the Holy Father's intentions.
On this day when Bishop Mar Eusebius celebrates his patronal feast, the clergy, religious, and faithful of the Exarchate offer prayers and cordial best wishes to our beloved Thirumeni. Ad multos annos.
A Holy Qurbono of Thanksgiving will be celebrated by His Excellency at St. John Chrysostom Pro-Cathedral tonight at 6 pm to mark the occasion.

Huntington -- On Tuesday, May 21, 2013, Deacon Michael Edathil received his Master of Divinity degree from the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception. The degree is awarded at the successful completion of four years of theological training. Along with his classmates, he received his Master of Divinity (MDiv) from the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception. In addition to the MDiv degree, the Seminary offers a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies for candidates to the permanent diaconate, as well as a Master of Arts degree for seminarians and laity.
New York - On Monday, May 13, 2013, His Beatitude Moran Mor Baselios Cardinal Cleemis, Major Archbishop-Catholicos of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church, and Bishop Mar Eusebius of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Apostolic Exarchate paid a visit to His Eminence Timothy Cardinal Dolan, Archbishop of New York and President of the USCCB. New Hyde Park, NY - The Syro-Malankara Catholic Apostolic Exarchate in the USA will formally welcome His Beatitude Baselios Cardinal Cleemis, the Major Archbishop-Catholicos of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church, this weekend in New York. This will mark His Beatitude's first visit to the Exarchate after his elevation to the College of Cardinals last November.
Huntington, NY -- The Department of the Family Apostolate of the Exarchate conducted a Pre-Cana (Marriage Preparation) Course on April 27, 28 at the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception, Huntington, New York. 15 persons from the Tristate New York parishes participated in the Course.
